Wako Japanese Restaurant

We ordered spicy salmon roll, Philadelphia roll and oh my God. It was exceptionally good. Clean environment. Very polite hostess. Will be back!

The staff is very friendly and professional at Wako Sushi! My boyfriend and I have been there several times where we were always impressed with the speedy delivery and quality of our orders. Oftentimes we were given free soup while we waited for our take-out on cold winter days. Absolutely love this place!

Sleeping Giant. Spot has a lot of room, but cozy. Temp is comfy, with a sushi-style bar, or traditional tables for a party of 3+. Why aren't you coming here to eat study Fanshawe and Western brothas and sistahs?

Highly Recommend!! My friends and I really enjoy the foods there, you can eat both great Japanese foods and delicious Korean foods at one place. The staffs and the owners are friendly and serve you with greatest sincerity. Also sometimes I order for take out, they always give me the complimentary noodles which makes me feel really good!! Try it, you won't regret!

Conveniently located in downtown London, with parking nearby. Reasonably priced menu, decent food quality.

Ordered spicy tuna amd salmon rolls along with some other assorted rolls. Everything tasted pretty good and quality was nice too. Loved the way chef decorated the platter. A little bit pricey and I didn't like the way my spicy tuna and salmon were slathered with spicy mayo. Service could have been better.

I have been here a few times, they have a good student special, however they don't take debit if it's under $10. I even ordered two students specials that were over $10 and they still wouldn't take debit. Also in the winter they don't turn their heat on and use space heaters at your table, it's freezing and really off putting. Service is speedy, and they are friendly sometimes, it's hit or miss. Recommend dine-in during the summer only, don't see this restaurant sticking around long term as there is sushi with always friendly service, who use their heat and always take debit right across the street.

I ordered from Wako Sushi for delivery, and was shocked to see an order for two people put all in one box. My avocado and yam roll was shoved in a box with a dynamite roll and a shrimp and avocado roll, and there was spicy mayo on everything so I couldn't tell which maki roll was mine, and which one was my boyfriend's. They also only sent one pair of chopsticks? It was really weird. The sushi was good but the way they sent it bothers me so much that I don't think I'll order from them again.

Excellent food and service! I was hesitate to try this restaurant because I couldn't really see the interior of the restaurant through the window from outside. However, I love the cozy and elegant interior design of this restaurant once I was in there! One piece of advise to the owner: maybe you can add more lights near the window to let people see the inside of the restaurant more clearly and I think that will help you to attract more attentions. Overall, excellent food, reasonable price definitely will come again.

Was visiting London for the weekend, visited this location late and realized the staff were getting ready to close for the evening. Although we could not dine in, the waitress said the kitchen was open for takeout! What a lifesaver! Good value for a boat load of sushi! Good value for the quality!!!!

Some of the nicest sushi rice in London. Tasty, not overly seasoned. Warm and soft. Red Dragon roll was prepared excellently. The Katsu was a large portion and we'll made but the accompanying sauce was not to my taste. Was mayo like but not strongly seasoned. Will definitely return and try other menu items. Recommended....

I ♡ WAKO!I have been consistently disappointed by take out sushi in London but the combo I ordered for lunch today was delicious!Just the right amount of food, and the rolls are delicious! I ordered crispy spicy crab and tuna, and as a spicy mayo lover this place definitely satisfies!! Will be ordering again in the future!

Good and fresh Sushi!

Always love the sushi here. The staff and owners are really customer-oriented and the food is always wonderful and intricately presented. They have a beautiful dining atmosphere and always have the option for take out or delivery, as well.

After placing a large delivery order, I received my order with NO CHOP STICKS, hardly any soya sauce (after I asked for extra in the order notes) also the crunch roll is Disgusting. Over all the sushi isn’t worth the money. I phoned the resteraunt and the women was basically laughing saying it’s my fault.... never ordering from here again! Cheap and unprofessional

I went here for my Mom's birthday for the first time. The food was pretty good and so was the price. However, the waitress was not so nice. Her attitude (I mean her reaction) made me not happy. But that's OK. Maybe she just had a bad day =))

Good pricing, decent Menu and friendly Staff.

We have tried about 10 sushi restaurants in London and this is by far our favourite. Food is always great, price is excellent, and staff is happy to see you.

Pretty nice place, the inside is a bit old fashioned but the prices are decent and the food is not bad. I got the bulgogi beef combo and my bf got the salmon teriyaki combo, we both thought they were a bit too sweet. Making the bulgogi spicy was an extra charge. The portions were huge though.

Best sushi restaurant in London. All the Japanese and Korean dishes are just great. They also provide customer-oriented services to customers. I highly recommend Wako sushi if you want to have a wonderful meal with your familiy and lovers.

Ok. If you are looking for the best sushi experience in London Ontario this is the place for you. Tastes 10/10. Presentation 10/10. Service and other 10/10. In my opinion this is the best sushi in London. Believe it. (You should try the “Fire Mikki roll”) the plate comes with a extraordinary fire presentation.

our delivery took over an hour and a half to arrive, and the staff were less then helpful when contacted. We called several times to see where our food was or to ask for our money back and they couldn't help us. If you're hungry... don't order here. Slowest service ever.

Spacious dining room. Presentation is amazing. Great seaweed salad and the servings of sushi, sashimi, and maki are both generous and delicious. Ever since first eating here it's been my go-to sushi restaurant. Another plus is that the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend.
